Dear Kobe,
Kobe, you are an icon for our generation. I know so many people who you’ve inspired, either by your skills on the court or by your determination off the court. Personally, I’ve always been inspired by your hustle and confidence. You dominated on and off the court.
This fueled my own determination and confidence back when I was a young athlete, then that confidence bled into other aspects of my life. I love when you said “The most important thing is you must put everybody on notice that you’re here and you are for real.” It embodies the confidence and hustle I’ve always admired from you. I take with me that quote, and a million other lessons I’ve learned from you as I move forward in leading a life of confidence, determination, success, and greatness.
Rest In Peace to you, a Los Angeles legend, to your daughter and young queen GiGi, and the additional 7 people who might not have had the same status as you, but whose lives are just as significant and important. 🙏🏽💜💛
