Dear Kobe,
Kobe Bryant was more than a basketball star to LA. He was our childhood hero, his games centered our family gatherings, his loyalty and determination to the Lakers franchise made our city bleed purple and gold. We didn’t just lose him, we lost a piece of our city. Los Angeles won’t ever recover, but the mamba mentality will carry on in all of us.
