This idea had consumed me so much that I actually put together a 12-slide powerpoint presentation on Corporate Responsibility and The Black Lives Matter movement— because it’s more than just a hashtag. I sent this powerpoint to the CEOs at my job, and I’m happy to say, it was well-received! Our company ended up donating $5,000 to two causes, and regardless of whether or not my presentation made an impact— I’m really proud and happy to have spoken up for a movement I believe in.
